Product Information
What is filament?
Filament is the material our 3D printer uses to bring your designs to life — think of it like the "ink" for 3D printing. It melts, shapes, and solidifies into the custom pieces we create for you
What filament do you use?
They vary based on the project, prioritizing reliability, quality, and finish. Sustainability matters to us, so we try to utilize recycled and eco-conscious materials whenever possible. Our aim is to create well design products to keep, not toss.
What printers do you use?
A mixture of Bambu Lab X1C and A1 printers. We're always expanding our fleet though.
What's unique about 3D printing?
A lot! 3D printing builds objects layer by layer, straight from a digital design. It lets us make complex shapes, customize easily, and produce in small batches — all without molds or wasteful setups. It’s fast, flexible, and opens the door to forms traditional manufacturing just can’t do.
What design software do you use?
We use a mix of 2D and 3D tools like Photoshop, Fusion 360, Alias, and Rhino — but sometimes nothing beats some old school pen and paper

Are 3D printing products durable?
Yes. We design each product with durability in mind while also selecting the right type of filament for each use case. Each product and part is specifically designed to be optimally manufactured with this technology
What are layer lines?
FDM 3D printing builds objects layer by layer, which naturally creates visible lines on the surface. It’s a normal part of the process — a texture that reflects how the object was made and adds to the unique character of 3D printed products.
How long does it take to print a product?
Each product is unique, so print times can vary depending on size, detail, and design. It all depends on what the piece requires
What are New Life products?
Every manufacturing process can produce the occasional minor flaw — 3D printing is no different. As part of our sustainability efforts, we offer some of these perfectly functional products at a discount. These pieces may have small cosmetic imperfections like surface blemishes or slight print irregularities, but they work exactly as intended.
All “New Life” products are final sale and not eligible for return or refund.

At Moodform, every piece is handmade and made-to-order with care, just for you. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or sent incorrectly, we’ll happily make it right — at no cost to you. No fuss, no hassle.

When will I get my order?
We’ll work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Each piece is made to order and may take up to 10 business days to produce. Once it’s ready, you’ll receive tracking info and updates as it makes its way to you!

Right here in California — designed, printed, assembled, and shipped all under one roof

Product Care
How do I clean my product?
- For most 3D printed products, a dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth will do the trick
- Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners, as they can damage the surface
- If needed, a small amount of mild soap is okay
- For any special cleaning instructions, please refer to the specific product page.
Recommendations
- Keep 3D printed products away from extreme heat, like outside in direct sunlight or near stoves — high temperatures can warp or damage them
Can the bulb on lamps be replaced?
Yes — all lamps that use a bulb are designed to be replaceable. Please refer to your product specification for recommendations on suitable replacement
What kind of light bulb can I replace my current bulb with?
